Managing your threat exposure and attack surface in 2025 The attack surface an organisation must protect continues to grow in size and complexity. What was once focused on vulnerabilities in systems under your control, exposures you must manage has now expanded to your entire internal and external attack surface, and includes cloud, identities, users, the dark web and more. To help address these challenges, Gartner introduced the Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) framework in 2022. More recently they named it as number two on their top 10 strategic technology trends for 2024, right behind AI Trust, Risk and Security Management. But what exactly is CTEM, what solutions fit this approach and is this the right approach for your organisation? During this presentation Peder will navigate the complex and evolving solution landscape of exposure management, describe where CTEM fits in, and offer recommendations on where organisations can start in modernising their approach.
