Project Melissa brings together organisations including the Dutch Public Prosecution Service, the National Police, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Cyberveilig Nederland and leading cybersecurity companies. Since its launch in 2021, the partnership has supported operations targeting groups behind Deadbolt, Genesis Market, Qakbot, LockBit and Cactus. It has also published white papers and ransomware reports to help organisations better understand and defend against ransomware.

mnemonic believes that effective defence against cybercrime depends on close cooperation between public and private organisations. By joining Project Melissa, mnemonic will contribute its expertise to a trusted network working to strengthen resilience against ransomware and other forms of cybercrime.
