mnemonic becomes member of the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO)
Joining ECSO's efforts to build a more resilient and strategically autonomous Europe

By joining ECSO, mnemonic becomes part of a network of more than 340 member organisations across Europe. ECSO’s mission is to coordinate the development of the European cybersecurity community and contribute to advancing European digital sovereignty and strategic autonomy. The organisation also plays an important role in strengthening cybersecurity capacity and digital skills across Europe.
As a member of ECSO, mnemonic will have the opportunity to contribute to working groups and initiatives, collaborate with peers across industry, academia, and the public sector, while engaging in knowledge-sharing and networking activities.
For mnemonic, several areas make ECSO membership particularly relevant, including:
- Research and Development (R&D): insights into ongoing and upcoming research initiatives, as well as opportunities for collaboration.
- Threat Management: exchange of experience and perspectives on the evolving European threat landscape.
- EU regulation: improved understanding of regulatory developments and their practical implications for our customers.
- CISO network: meeting and exchanging ideas with a broad network of security leaders across industries and countries.
Siri Bromander, Head of R&D at mnemonic, says she looks forward to the partnership:
“We are pleased to become a member of ECSO and look forward to collaborating with new partners across national borders and industries. With more than 25 years of experience and strong research and development capabilities, we hope to contribute and learn from the broader European cybersecurity community.”
About the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO)
The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) is the pan-European, public-private organisation (non-profit) focused on empowering European cybersecurity communities.
Established in 2016 as the European Commission’s contractual partner for the public-private Partnership in Cybersecurity (2016-2020), they have built on the successes of that partnership to strengthen European cybersecurity by providing a platform for cooperation, community advocacy, public-private collaboration, and more.
Full Members of ECSO include large companies, SMEs and start-ups, research centres, universities, end-users and operators of essential services, clusters and associations, as well as the local, regional and national public administrations across the European Union member states and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).
