mnemonic has strengthened its position in Sweden with new talented hires in several fields, which include Governance Risk & Compliance, Cloud Security, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, CISO for hire, Managed Detection & Response engineers (MDR), and Sales. To accommodate mnemonic’s accelerated growth, the team has moved into a new office that is three times the size and located in the booming Sundbyberg region outside of Stockholm. This new location brings mnemonic to an even closer proximity to customers and technology partners.

A cybersecurity veteran

Joining mnemonic is Erik Jönsson, former CEO of Truesec Sweden, one of the larger cybersecurity companies in Sweden. Prior to this he was Country Manager at Trend Micro, and held executive roles at Symantec and F-Secure. At mnemonic, he fills the position of Key Account Manager and is responsible for further developing mnemonic’s presence in the Swedish market and expanding the local network.

Jönsson is excited about his new role: “I worked a lot with mnemonic in the past and I always had a lot of respect for the organisation and its high level of expertise and professionalism.”

Jönsson continues “I wanted to work at an organisation that shares my purpose, which is to help businesses manage their security risks, protect their data, and defend against cyber threats. The role of Key Account Manager allows me to be in close contact with customers and to help them get the best service possible. In the end, that is what I enjoy doing most. The cherry on the cake is the mnemonic company culture, which is unique and definitely a strong asset. It’s up to us to live and keep that culture in Stockholm. I’m thrilled to further develop mnemonic in Sweden in the years to come.”

Meeting increased market demand

Ola Lindgren, Managing Director of mnemonic Sweden: “mnemonic Sweden is very locally connected but is also backed by one of the largest teams of cybersecurity experts in Northern Europe. This allows us to take on large and complex issues and be the partner that our clients require us to be.”

“There is an increasing demand for high-quality cybersecurity partners, and the market needs to rely on organisations that will do whatever they can to protect them in the long term”, Lindgren adds. “With the expansion of the team and the improved office space, I’m even more confident that mnemonic is the cybersecurity partner on which Swedish organisations can rely, now and in the future.”
