In this session, we will provide an overview of key trends in the AI landscape, including recent changes in vendor portfolios and what organisations should be aware of when adopting AI solutions. 10:20 - 10:50	From threat intel to detection rules: Can LLMs do the heavy lifting? with Fredrik Borg, Senior Security Analyst, mnemonic Detection engineering is a crucial component of mnemonic's SOC deliveries. It is essential for delivering accurate, scalable and timely threat detection in a constantly evolving threat landscape. AI has the potential to support parts of the detection engineering process, but a human must remain in the loop. mnemonic’s R&D is exploring exactly which parts of detection development can be automated with AI and Agentic Detection Engineering. In this session, Fredrik shares insights from an ongoing proof of concept. The project explores how an LLM can ingest threat intelligence to reliably generate detection rules and filters.
